Recently, Finlay seems to have become a loyal subject of King Booker, with his servitude coming at the expense of old foe Bobby Lashley. After losing to Chris Benoit at Judgment Day, the Irishman took out his frustration by interfering in the King of the Ring final, hitting Lashley with the shillelagh and handing Booker the victory. On the June 2 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Finlay helped the King once again; after Lashley's victory over Booker, Finlay & William Regal came out to help Booker decimate the United States Champion, even forcing Lashley to kiss the King's feet. Finlay has continually been at Booker's side since then, helping him in his quest to get rid of Lashley once and for all.
